Privacy policy

What this covers

This policy covers qodelink.com and the Qodelink dashboard: the redirect service behind every Qodelink code, the scan reports it generates, and any lead information collected through a code on a paid tier that includes lead capture.

What Qodelink collects

Scan data: when a code is scanned, Qodelink logs the code, the time, and basic technical information about the request, such as device type. Network addresses are stored only in a one-way hashed form used to filter duplicate and automated scans; Qodelink does not store raw IP addresses with scan records.

Account and dashboard data: if a plan includes a dashboard login, Qodelink collects the contact details needed to run that account, such as an email address and business name.

Lead data: on plans that include consent-gated lead capture, Qodelink collects only what a person chooses to submit after seeing what it will be used for and who it goes to.

What Qodelink does not do

Data collected through Qodelink is never sold.

Leads captured through one client's code are never shared with another client. Qodelink does not build persistent cross-client profiles from scan or lead data.

How data is used

Scan and lead data are used to operate the redirect service, generate the reports and dashboards that come with a plan, and respond to support requests. Aggregate, non-identifying trends may be used to understand how the platform is performing.

Your choices

To ask what data Qodelink holds about you, or to request it be deleted, email hello@qodelink.com. Requests are answered as quickly as possible, and always within 30 days.

Children

Qodelink is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Qodelink's plans and features change. The version in effect is always the one posted at this address.
